Pass Percentage registers a dip

This year, 60.70% students have cleared the HPBOSE 10^th Result 2019 which is marginally lower as compared to last year. In 2018, the overall pass percentage was 62.80%. The dip in the overall pass percentage is contrary to the expectations off the academic experts who predicted the result to be better as compared to last year. 

Number of Students Passed vs Compartmental

For HPBOSE 10^th Result 2019, a total of 1,11,976 students had appeared for the exam. Of the total number, 67319 students have cleared the exam with flying colours, while 6395 students have received compartmental result.

Atharv Thakur has secured the top place in state with 98.71% in the Class 10 Result 2019. While the second spot has been jointly secured by, Paras Kumar from Mandi, Dhruv Sharma from Bilaspur and Ridhi Sharma from Mandi. The other details of the toppers can be found below:

This year, a total of 1,11,976 students appeared for the exam, of which the gender-wise breakup has been listed below:

After the declaration of HPBOSE 10^th Result 2019 online, the board will also make the official mark sheets, passing certificates and other documents related to the exam result available to the students. Students who are not satisfied with the result announced by the Board will have the option to opt for rechecking and re-evaluation of the Board. Students, who feel there is some clerical error in terms of marks being calculated, can opt for re-totalling of the marks. Similarly, the HPBOSE will also offer the re-checking and re-evaluation options. 

Result Time Changed

As per the latest update, the HPBOSE 10^th Result 2019 has been delayed by a few minutes and will be published at 12:30 PM. The official declaration of the HP Board Result 2019 will be done from the Dharamshala office of the HPBOSE following which the result will be published online on hp10.jagranjosh.com.

According to the official estimate, nearly 1800 exam centres were involved in the HPBOSE 10^th Exam 2019. The 1800 exam centres hosted around 1.5 lakh students for the Class 10 in March.

Security Measures to curb cheating

Keeping in mind the security and smooth conduct of HPBOSE 10^th Result 2019, the HP Board had installed CCTV security cameras at nearly 1000 plus centres across the state. In addition to this, the Board also arranged special exam centres for women.

According to academic experts, the HPBOSE 10^th Result 2019 will see the overall pass percentage grow substantially. The pass percentage is expected to grow because of the several new initiatives launched by the government.

11:15 AM: Passing Marks
