Maharashtra SSC, HSC Exam 2022 Update: As per the recent updates, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has decided to hold the Maharashtra SSC, HSC exams 2022 as per the released dates. The exams will be conducted in February and March.
Schools and colleges have been given the freedom to conduct oral and practical exams however, the offline exams will be conducted as planned. Nearly 32 lakh students will be appearing for the Maharashtra State Board Examinations 2022.
Review Conducted by State Board
The state board conducted a review of the present situation and decided not to postpone the board exams for Maharashtra Classes 10 and 12. As per media updates, Chairman Sharad Gosavi stated “Schools and colleges can conduct their internal examinations as per their schedule and what is suitable but the written exams will be conducted offline as per the schedule released earlier. However, based on the situation before the exams, a decision will be made.”

According to the timetable released, Maha Class 12 HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) oral exams will be conducted between 14th February to 3rd March 2022 and written exams will be held from 4th March 2022.
Whereas for class 10 SSC (Secondary School Certificate) oral and practical exams will be held between 25th February to 14th March 2022 and written examinations will be conducted from 15th March 2022.

The Maharashtra SSC and HSC board exam 2022 will be held in two shifts i.e. morning session from 10:30 am to 2 pm while the second shift will be held in the afternoon from 3 to 6:30 pm. The majority of Class 10 and 12 exams are scheduled to be held in the morning session i.e. 1st shift starting at 10:30 am.

Last year, both Maharashtra class 12th and 10th exams were cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak. The results for both exams were announced based on the internal evaluation. Also, the syllabus for the exams has been reduced by 25% as per the demands made by students to reduce the difficulty of the exam considering the present situation.
