The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2018 Admit Card released on the official website, i.e. dtemaharashtra.gov.in. The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra has released the admit cards for all the aspirants of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) UG programmes, today. The admit card download window for MAH CET 2018 UG entrance examination will close on 10th May 2018. The admit card will be available in the students’ CET account. For downloading the MHT CET 2018 Admit Cards, you have to log in to your account. The admit card link has been activated by the board officials.
The candidates seeking admission to first year Engineering and Technology degree courses it is mandatory for them to appear for both Paper I and Paper II. The candidate seeking admission to first year Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree course it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Paper II as well as in Paper I and/ or Paper III. The Government of Maharashtra has established "ADMISSIONS REGULATING AUTHORITY AND STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL" as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions & Fees) Act. 2015. The admission procedure for the engineering programmes under MHT CET will be done as per the guidelines are given by the authorities. The examination for admission for the Engineering programmes in Maharashtra will be held on May 10th 2018.
As far as the questions papers are concerned, the board has said that they will be based on Syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. It has also been confirmed that approximately 20% weightage will be given to class 12th curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to class 11th curriculum while setting the question paper. There will be no Negative Marking, however, difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET. The MHT-CET 2018 will consist of 3 question papers of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks.
