MHT CET Result 2020: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra will declare the MHT CET Result 2020 in online mode. Candidates who will be appearing for the MHT CET 2020 exam will be able to check their MHT CET Result 2020 by the first week of June tentatively. How to check MHT CET 2020 Result

DTE has not released any official notification for the declaration of MHT CET Result 2020. In 2019, the result was announced on June 4. The MHT CET 2020 result is, thus, expected to be available in online mode in the first week of June, 2020. MHT CET Result 2020: Scorecard

MHT CET Result 2020- Score Calculation

MHT-CET 2020 will be conducted in two groups i.e. PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). The question papers comprise of multiple choice questions (MCQ) having 4 options. There will be No Negative Marking fir incorrect answers.

MHT CET Result 2020: Normalization

MHT CET exam is conducted over multiple shifts with each shift comprising different sets of questions. To ensure that the candidates are scored evenly, normalization procedure will be used to calculate the MHT result 2020 scores.

Percentile Scores: The Percentile score will be the Normalized Score for the examination (instead of the raw marks of the candidate). The Percentile score of a Candidate is calculated as follows:

MHT CET Cut off 2020

The cut off of MHT CET 2020 is the last score set by CAP for admission of candidates into engineering, pharmacy and agriculture in the state of Maharashtra. MHT CET Result 2020 Counselling

The counselling of MHT CET 2020 will be conducted by the examination conducting authority in the last week of June, 2020. Only those candidates who qualify the MHT CET 2020 exam will be invited to participate in the MHT CET 2020 Counselling. The counselling will be conducted in the following rounds;

  • Registration: In the first stage of the MHT CET 2020 counselling process, candidates will be required to register for the counselling where they must fill and lock their choices as per their preference.
  • Document verification: Candidates have to meet in FC in person in order to get their documents verified.
  • Release of provisional merit list: After the documents are verified, a provision merit list for eligible candidates will be displayed.
  • Seat Allotment: Candidates will have to report to the institute allotted to them to confirm the allotted seat once the final CAP round is done. Candidates can Freeze, Slide and float after the seat is allotted to them.

About MHT CET

Maharashtra Directorate of medical education & research (DMER) conducts the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET. Successful candidates can take admission in engineering & technology and pharmacy courses offered by various government and private colleges of Maharashtra state. The MHT-CET (Common Entrance Test) is an annual entrance exam, which is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra and the Directorate of Technical Education. MT CET is also commonly known as Maharashtra Technical common entrance Test and it is mainly conducted by the government of Maharashtra (includes Mumbai).
