The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for conducting examinations at the research level in university education. The State Eligibility Test (SET) are state level exams. SET exam is a teaching exam that is conducted by the respective states to determine candidates for the post of Assistant Professor or to pursue research in the colleges and universities in that particular state. The TET exam pattern 2025 is similar for most of the exams that are conducted at the Central and State level. The TET exam is composed of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 will appear for Paper 1 while those who plan to trach classes 6 to 9 will appear for Paper 2. However, candidates can appear for both Pape 1 and 2 as well.
