The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) conducts the HP TET exam. HP TET is a teaching exam that is held two times in a year, once in June and the other in November. The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in schools of Himachal Pradesh for various subjects. These include Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Arts, TGT (Medical), TGT (Non-Medical), Shastri teacher, Language Teacher (LT), Urdu language teacher, and Punjabi language teacher. The HP TET exam is scheduled for November 15, November 17, November 24 and 26, 2024 for which the admit card can be released anytime soon. The HP TET exam is scheduled for November 15, November 17, November 24 and 26, 2024 for JBT TET, Shastri TET, TGT (Non-Medical) TET, Language Teacher TET, TGT (Arts) TET, TGT (Medical) TET, Punjabi Language Teacher and Urdu Language Teacher. Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) released the HP TET 2024 notification for the November exam on 26 September 2024. The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online for the HP TET November exam from 28 September 2024 onwards on the official website- hpbose.org. The candidates will be able to apply for the teaching post of JBT TET, Shastri TET, TGT (Non-Medical) TET, Language Teacher TET, TGT (Arts) TET, TGT (Medical) TET, Punjabi Language Teacher and Urdu Language.

The candidates have to submit the HP TET application form 2024 by 18 October 2024 without a late fine the last date is 21 October 2024. Candidates also have the option to make correction in the application form from 22 to 24 October 2024. HP TET 2024 Exam Date 

The HP TET exam date 2024 has been released by the authorities along with the November notification. The exam shall be held from 15th to 26th November 2024. HP TET November 2024 Exam Schedule

HP TET exam schedule 2024 has been released by HP BOSE along with the notification. The exam shall begin from 15th November 2024 onwards and will be held in two shifts. HP TET 2024 Application Form

HP TET Application Form Correction 2024

The HPBOSE provides a one-time facility for making corrections in the application form, if any. HP TET application correction window will be opened from 22nd to 24th October 2024  (11:59 pm) to candidates who want to make changes or corrections to the already filled application form. However, only certain details can be corrected. 

HP TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have completed his/her graduation with at least 50% aggregate marks.
• Candidates should have a degree or diploma in teacher training.

HP TET 2024 Syllabus

Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) prescribes the HP TET syllabus 2024. The exam is for a total of 150 marks. The syllabus differs for all the papers including JBT, TGT (Non-Medical), TGT (Medical), TGT (Arts), Language Teacher, Shastri, Punjabi and Urdu. 

HP TET 2024 Selection Process

Candidates who appear for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) will be shortlisted based on their score in the HP TET Online Exam. HP TET is an eligibility test. This means that qualifying for this teaching exam does not guarantee jobs to the aspirants. 

Once the candidates have qualified for this exam, they will be issued the HP TET certificate. The certificate will allow them to apply for teaching jobs based on the vacancies in a particular school.

The validity of HP TET is lifetime. The HP TET certificate is awarded to those candidates only who qualify the HP TET exam. By having the certificate, the candidates will be able to apply for teacher recruitment in Himachal Pradesh schools for JBT, Shastri, TGT (Non-Medical), Language Teacher, TGT (Arts), TGT (Medical), Punjabi Language Teacher and Urdu Language Teacher.
