MICAT Exam 2024 Exam Latest Updates 

Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad, conducted the MICAT 2 exam on January 27, 2024. The MICAT II results are now available on the official website, mica.ac.in. Additionally, MICA, Ahmedabad, will release the MICAT GE-PI shortlist, which will be based on the best of the two MICAT scores for PGDM admissions. Candidates aspiring for MICA admissions must have a valid score in one of the following exams, along with a bachelor's degree.

What is the MICAT Exam?

The MICAT exam, short for MICA Admission Test, is an online entrance exam for MICA's PGP courses, including PGDM and PGDM-C. The exam consists of both objective and subjective questions across different sections:

• Psychometric Test
• Descriptive Test
• Aptitude Test

Section C of the MICAT exam includes topics commonly found in other competitive exams. It features multiple-choice questions from four sub-sections:

• Divergent-Convergent Reasoning
• Verbal Ability
• Quantitative Ability
• General Awareness

MICA, Ahmedabad, conducts the MICAT exam in two phases, MICAT 1 and MICAT 2. The institute considers the best of the two scores to prepare the GE-PI shortlist. The final selection is based on the performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT, MICAT, GE, and PI.

MICAT Exam is Mandatory for MICA PGDM Admissions 2024

Candidates seeking admission to MICA, Ahmedabad, must apply for and take the MICAT exam. Even if they have appeared for other MBA entrance exams, they still need to apply for MICAT. Scores in CAT, XAT, or GMAT are prerequisites for the MICA PGDM selection process. The selection is based on the candidate's performance in the MICAT exam, national-level exams, and GE-PI. Candidates without valid CAT, XAT, or GMAT scores are not eligible for MICA PGDM admissions

MICAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

MICA, Ahmedabad has set some rules which make it necessary for the aspirants to follow in order to appear for the MICAT Exams. The eligibility criteria for appearing in MICAT say that the aspirants must possess a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT score. Along with this, they should also have completed graduation with 50% aggregate marks.
