KMAT 2024: Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern
KMAT is an annually conducted exam by the Karnataka Post Graduate Private Colleges' Association (KPPGCA). Candidates who qulaify this entrance exam are eligible to take admission in various MBA and MCA colleges in Karnataka state. The notificaiton for KMAT 2024 exam is yet to be released. It is expected that the application forms along with the notification will be released in the month of June.
KMAT 2024: What is KMAT Karnataka?
KMAT Karnataka full form is Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is conducted by the Karnataka Post Graduate Private Colleges' Association (KPPGCA) for admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses. The KMAT exam was first started in 2003 where more than 170 AICTE-approved MBA colleges and over 55 MCA colleges offer admissions based on scores obtained in the KMAT exam.
The candidates who qualify the KMAT exam are eligible to take admission by appearing for the Group Discussions and Personal Interviews that is carried out by the participating colleges. KMAT 2024 Important Dates
The KMAT application form is likely to begin in the month of June 2024. Once the application form has been released online for the Karnataka MAT exam 2024, the candidates will be able to apply online within the given dates. KMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates from any state of India who are Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the KMAT exam 2024. However, the final admission process of the candiates is likely to vary as per the college where the candidate is seeking admission. The eligibility criteria for the KMAT exam 2024 is given below.
KMAT Educational Qualification for MBA
> Candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline i.e. Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering / Technology from a recognised college/university.
> The final admission of the candidates will be considered based on their performance in the KMAT exam, academic record, and relevant subjects.
KMAT Qualifying marks
> Candidates must have obtained a minimum 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the final year examination of their Bachelor's degree.
> For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, the minimum aggregate required is 45 per cent or equivalent CGPA.
KMAT 2024 Eligibility for MCA
> A bachelor's degree in any stream.
> Candidates must have secured 50 per cent aggregate in the final year examination of their bachelor's degree.
>Candidates must have studied Mathematics subject at their Class 12 level examinations.
Age Limit to Appear for KMAT 2024
There is no upper age limit to appear for Karnataka KMAT. However, candidates must be at least 21 years old at the time of admission.
KMAT 2024 Application Process
KMAT 2024 application forms will be released online on the official website of KMAT which is kmatindia.com. The KMAT application process included the following steps:
> Create a new user profile by filling out the KMAT registration form with details such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID and phone number, etc.
> Fill out the complete KMAT application form using the application number and date of birth
> Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
> Pay the KMAT application fee via credit/debit card, internet banking, UPI or other banking wallets.
