NEET 2021 Exam Date Announced: Finally, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the revised examination date for NEET UG 2021 medical entrance exam. As per the latest update, NEET 2021 exam for undergraduate medical aspirants will be held on 12th September 2021. Candidates can start applying for the entrance test from today onwards by logging onto ntaneet.nic.in website.

NEET 2021 Exam Date Announced: Finally, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the revised examination date for NEET UG 2021 medical entrance exam. As per the latest update, NEET 2021 exam for undergraduate medical aspirants will be held on 12th September 2021. The news about postponement of NEET 2021 exam from its earlier date of 1st August 2021 was confirmed by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan via a tweet sent out from his official account. The news about deferment of NEET UG 2021 exam has come across as a major relief for medical aspirants, who were demanding the same for quite some time now. Candidates can start applying for the entrance test from today onwards by logging onto ntaneet.nic.in website. News Confirmed by New Education Minister

The news about postponement of NEET 2021 Medical Entrance Exam has been confirmed by the Newly appointed Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. In a tweet sent from his official account, Mr Pradhan noted that “The NEET (UG) 2021 will be held on 12th September 2021 across the country following COVID-19 protocols. The application process will begin from 5 pm tomorrow through the NTA website(s).” This is the first major decision and announcement by Mr Pradhan after taking over the reins of the Union Education Ministry from his predecessor Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishnak’.

 

Test Centres Increased, COVID Guidelines to be Followed

With the COVID-19 pandemic situation still very much relevant, the Education Minister has directed the NTA i.e. the National Testing Agency to hold the medical entrance exam with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols and guidelines. In the tweet sent from his account, Mr Pradhan also said that “In order to ensure social distancing norms, number of cities where examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198. The number of examination centres will also be increased from the 3862 centres used in 2020.” Furthermore, “To ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols, face mask will be provided to all candidates at the centre. Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation, seating with social distancing etc. will also be ensured”, he added.
