
Tamil Nadu state government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a private firm to provide online training for the students interested to apply for the IIT JEE examinations from government-aided schools in the state.
The memorandum was signed with the government earlier conducting NEET Coaching centers for medical aspirants from the government and government-aided schools. The Mou was signed with Nextgen Vidya Pvt Ltd and the IIT JEE aspirants from government and government-aided schools will be roomed through the online initiative for free.
Candidates who wish to appear for the IIT JEE examinations can register for the training which will begin from December 21 to 31, 2020. The training will commence on January 4, 2021. The students will be provided training in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The students will also be provided with a unique Login ID and Password and will be provided to the students to learn the lessons while teachers, district, coordinators, and headmasters will be given access to monitor the performance of the students.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in presence of the School Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan.
JEE Main 2021 examinations
The Union Education Ministry has earlier informed that the dates for the JEEMain 2021 examinations have not been finalized. Clarification regarding the exams was released following the release of the JEE Main 2021 brochure released on December 15, 2020, on the official website of NTA. However, with the clarification from the ministry, NTA has withdrawn the JEE Main 2021 information brochure on the official website.
