The University of Hyderabad will be conducting the final semester examinations for the postgraduate students from September 16, 2020 onwards. Final semester candidates can visit the official website for further details regarding the exams.

The University of Hyderabad will be conducting the final semester examinations for the postgraduate students from September 16, 2020, onwards. According to reports, the university has given a wide range of options to the department heads on the method of conducting the examinations for the students. 

Mode and duration of exams

Professor Vinod Pavarala, the spokesperson of the University of Hyderabad, stated that most of the university departments have decided to provide the question papers to the students online and given them two to four hours to write their answers. The students will also not be expected to be on a video call or online to write the answers but instead, they will have to send a scanned copy of their answer sheets once the exam time concludes. 

Evaluation for semester exams

The Hyderabad University end semester exams will be conducted for 50 marks and the students will be evaluated on a continuous basis for the remaining 50 marks. 

Exam Details

The spokesperson has also added that although the exams will be a kind of open-book exams, the question paper will also contain elements of analysis and interpretation so that the students will not be able to copy-paste from the study materials in hand. Some of the departments are also conducting oral exams after the theory papers to check the engagement of the students with the curriculum and integrity. 

The University of Hyderabad will be conducting the online entrance examinations for the 2020-21 admissions for the postgraduate students and integrated courses from September 24, 2020.
