The Uttarakhand Technical University is conducting the online counselling for the B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Arch, B.Design, BHMCET, MPharm, MTech, MBA, MHM and MCA programmes offered by the university. Students who are eligible to apply for the counselling process for the admissions are advised to visit the official website of the university for further counselling updates.
Students are also required to submit the online application fee of Rs. 2000/- along with completing the registration process for the counselling.

According to the dates provided on the official notification, the last date to complete the Uttarakhand B.Tech Counselling registration is September 28, 2020. The link to complete the choice filling process will be available from September 30 to October 3, 2020. The seat allocation list will be available on the official website on October 7, 2020, and the students who have been allotted seats are required to report to the respective colleges from October 8 to 14, 2020.

Admission Criteria
The admissions to the BHMCET and B.Design programmes will be conducted based on the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying class 12 examinations, while the B.Tech, B.Pharm, and B.Arch admissions will be conducted based on the JEE Main scores secured by the students and the marks obtained in the qualifying class 12 examinations.
Lateral Entry
With respect to the lateral entry to the second year postgraduate programmes, admissions will be conducted based on the ratio of marks secured in a diploma or degree exams or the fifth/seventh semester. Priority will also be given to the students who have qualified GATE/GAPT exams.
