VITEEE 2019 Counselling: Vellore Institute of Technology will start the Phase 1 counselling procedure for the B.Tech programmes from today onwards. The Phase 1 counselling will be held in three slots, the timings for which have been mentioned on the counseling schedule released on the official website of the university. Those candidates who have qualified the VIT entrance test must appear for the counseling without fail in order to secure their admission in the college.
The counseling process will be held in three phases and will continue until May 15, 2019.Phase 1 counselling is being held for the candidates who have secured the ranks between 1 and 10000. The time slots have been divided into three viz; ranks 1 to 4000 have been given the slot timing of 8.30 AM, Ranks 4001 to 7000 have been called for the counseling from 11.00 AM and the Ranks 7001 to 10,000 have been called for the counseling from 2.00 OM onwards.

Documents to be submitted during counseling
Candidates appearing for the counseling procedure need to submit the following documents without fail. The documents include the following. Candidates who are not in possession of any of the below-given documents at the time of counseling will not be able to complete the counseling procedure.

| Demand Draft for Rs. 2,00,000/- drawn in favour of Vellore Institute of Technology, payable at Vellore (Phase 2 Candidates) |
| Hostel fee of Rs. 1,00,000/- at the time of counselling by a separate crossed Demand Draft in favour of Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore/ respective campus (for the candidates who require hostel accommodation) |
