Eligibility Criteria for JRF & Other Posts Job

Educational Qualification:

• Research officer/Scientist- B: 1st Class M.Sc. course (only regular) in Microbiology, Biotechnology/Molecular biology from the reputed university.
• Research officer/Scientist-B, Bioinformatics: 1st Class M.Sc. course (only regular) in Biotech/Master Bioinformatics or related subject from the reputed university.
• Senior Research Fellow: 1st Class with M.Sc. course (only regular) in Microbiology, Biotechnology/Molecular biology.
• Junior Research Fellow: 1st Class M.Sc. course (only regular) in Microbiology, Biotechnology/Life Sciences (*NET/NET-LS/ICMR).
• Project Officer: Graduate in any discipline
• Lab Technician: B.Sc. (MLT)/ B.Sc. Life Sciences with MLT
• Lab Attendant: 12th Pass with Science subject.

Experience

• Research officer/Scientist- B: Three year experience in the field of Mycobacteriology/ Molecular Biology/ Protein extraction and Purification/ point of care test device development. Preference will be given to those having experience in TB Research.
• Research officer/Scientist-B, Bioinformatics: Three years experience in Biological Sciences/Wet Lab or PhD in related field. Preference will be given to those having experience in NGS/Genome analysis.
• Senior Research Fellow: Two years experience in the field of Mycobacteriology/ Molecular Biology/ Protein extraction and Purification/ point of care test device development. Preference will be given to those having experience in TB Research.
• Junior Research Fellow: Molecular Techniques, Mycobacterium Culture Techniques
• Project Officer: Five years experience of Administration/Finance and Account work
• Lab Technician: Culture media preparation, Mycobacterial Culture, Microbiological Techniques, sample collection, Microscopy, Phlebotomy etc.
• Lab Attendant: One year hands on Lab experience
