The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, will conduct the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination, 2012 for the 15% merit positions of the Medical/Dental Colleges of India. The result of the entrance examination, merit list, and counseling will be provided by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/ Senior Secondary Examination comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training with 50% marks in PCB for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Age Limit (as on 31 December 2011): Minimum 17 years; Maximum 25 years
Selection Procedure: The entrance examination consists of the following
• Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination would consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. The duration of paper would be 3 hours.
• Final Examination (Only for those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination): The Final Examination would consist of one paper containing 120 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. The duration of paper would be 3 hours.
NOTE: Candidates can opt for Question Papers either in English or in Hindi.
Application Fee: Application fee can be paid in the form of Debit/ Credit Card using on-line gateway payment facility or through Demand Draft.
• If decided to pay fee through Debit/Credit Card, check the validity of the Card and keep it ready with you while logging on to website for submitting application form.
• If decided to pay fee through Demand Draft, get it prepared for the applicable fee from any nationalized bank in the name of Secretary, CBSE payable at Delhi. Write your name, address, contact no. and application no. at the back of the Demand Draft.
