Andhra Bank Recruitment of Probationary Officers (Special Drive for OBC category) 2012

Andhra Bank of India has announced recruitment of 89 Probationary Officers to clear backlog of OBC vacancies. The last date to apply for the post is 14 February 2012

Andhra Bank was registered on 20 November 1923 and commenced business on 28 November 1923 by the eminent freedom fighter and a multifaceted genius, Dr. Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramayya. The Bank has 1667 branches in India spread over all states/ union territories including specialized branches that are controlled through 23 Zonal Offices. It invites application from eligible OBC category candidates for recruitment of Probationary Officers.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Graduate with minimum 60% marks in AGGREGATE from UGC recognized University AND Computer knowledge

IBPS Score Requirement: Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) will be minimum 141 and above

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 30 years

Application Fee: Fee for OBC- PWD candidates is Rs 50 and fee for OBC candidates is Rs 200.

The fees need to be paid in cash in the form of NEFT/ challan available on the bank's website at any of the branches of Andhra Bank.

Go to the nearest Andhra Bank Branch with the Fee payment Challan/ NEFT and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in CBS Account No. 117911100000849 with Pattabhi Bhavan Branch in the name & style of "ANDHRA BANK PROBATIONARY OFFICERS RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2011-12".

Pay Scale: Rs 14500 - 600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 plus DA, HRA, CCA as per rules in force from time to time.

Selection Procedure: Selection for the post of Probationary Officer will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2011/ November 2011 and Group Discussion and/ Interview. The total marks for Interview will be 35. Candidates have to obtain 14 marks to qualify in the Interview.
