Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, Hyderabad, invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Electrical Inspectors in Andhra Pradesh Electrical Inspectorate Service.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central act or a State Act or a Provincial Act or any Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.

Experience Required: Must have three years practical experience in Electrical Engineering of which not less than one year shall be in the field of Electrical and Mechanical workshop or Generation or Transmission or Distribution of Electricity or in the Administration of Indian Electricity Act, 1910 and the rules made there under in a position of responsibility. 

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011): Maximum 36 years

Pay Scale: Rs 19,050- 45,850

Application Fee: Each applicant must pay Rs 100 (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee Rs 120 (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Only) (if Candidates are not exempted from payment of Fee). Payment of Rs 100 (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards application processing fee is compulsory for all Applicants.

The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the AP Online centres/ State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number in the first instance.

Selection Procedure: The final selection will be based on the written examination (Objective Type) conducted by the commission.
