National Institute of Technology Goa is one of the newly established NIT during the 11th Five Year Plan by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (HRD) in 2010 in the country. It invited applications from the eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professors in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Economics.

Pay Scale: Rs 15600-39100 + AGP Rs 6000/ Rs 7000/ Rs 8000 (as per the qualification and year of experience)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates who wish to apply should possess good academic record along with PhD with 1st class (60%) or equivalent grade (6.5/10) at the B Tech/ MSc/ MA/ MBA level in appropriate branch.

Note: NIT Goa can recruit exceptionally talented candidates possessing M Tech degree for appointment as Assistant Professor on contract for 3 years or till award of PhD degree, that can be extended by 2 more years on recommendation of second selection committee.

Selection Process

Applicants who fulfil eligibility criteria will be called for an interview by the institute.
