What is the ATMA MBA Exam?
ATMA is a popular National Level MBA entrance Test that is conducted for those candidates who wish to seek admission in MBA colleges across the country. ATMA entrance test is recognized by Ministry of HRD and AICTE. The score of ATMA test is accepted by Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided MBA colleges in India. It is the only MBA entrance exam in India that is conducted 5 times in a year and this gives aspirants a unique opportunity appear for the exam to improve their score for securing admission in top MBA colleges of India.

Who can appear for the ATMA MBA Entrance Exam?
To appear for ATMA MBA entrance exam, interested candidates are required to fulfil basic eligibility criteria. Candidates must possess a valid bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Even if the candidate is in the final year of the undergraduate programme, he/she can appear for the exam. There is no age-bar for the candidates who wish to appear for ATMA Exam. Nationality is of vital importance for appearing in ATMA exam. An ATMA exam applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
ATMA MBA Exam Pattern
Another unique feature of ATMA is the exam format. It is the only MBA entrance exam that is conducted five times in a year. It is a unique exam because aspirants can choose to give exam either in computer based or paper based format. There are 6 sections in the ATMA Exam paper, with each section comprising of 30 questions each. Overall the exam carries 180 questions which need to be solved in the time span of 180 minutes. With this, an aspirant gets 1 minute to attempt or solve one question.
The sections which aspirants will see in the ATMA exam are: Analytical Reasoning Skills part 1, Analytical Reasoning Skills part 2, Verbal Skills part 1 and Verbal Skills part 2, Quantitative Skills part 1 and Quantitative Skills part 2. The composition of the exam is such that each section is split into two parts and all these sections are individually timed with 30 minutes time allotted to each section.
ATMA does not follow differential marking scheme in the exam. For choosing each right option from among the given choices, candidate will score +1 mark and for choosing each wrong option, negative marking of 0.25 marks will be deducted in the exam.

ATMA MBA Exam Schedule
ATMA is conducted five times in a year i.e. in the month of February, May, June, July, and August. Generally the registration begins one month prior to the month in which the exam is conducted. The admit card is made available one week prior for the candidates. ATMA exam gives MBA aspirants a golden opportunity to improve their scores by re-appearing in the exam.
