Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) was established at Bangalore, India, by the Government of India under the Ministry of Defence in 1954 to meet the specialised electronic needs of the Indian defence services. It invites application from eligible candidates for the posts mentioned below at its Bangalore Unit on Contract Basis temporarily for a period of one year for its Smart Cards Division - Components SBU across Maharashtra Region.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: BE/ BTech (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Information Technology, Information Technology, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication), MCA, MSc (Computer Science, Information Technology).

Desirable Qualification

• Data Base Administrator: Experience: 0-1 Year experience in MySql/ MS-Sqlserver/ Oracle and RDBMS, Software development skills with C, C++, Java, .Net Software Testing skills.
• Senior Data Base Administrator: Experience: Essential: 1-2 Year experience in MySql/MS-Sqlserver/Oracle and RDBMS. Desirable: Software development skills with C, C++, Java, .Net Software Testing skills
• Data Base Administrator for Registrar BME packets consolidation: Experience: 0-1 Year experience in MySql/ MS-Sqlserver/ Oracle and RDBMS, Software development skills with C, C++, Java, .Net Software Testing skills.
• Tehsil level Data Base Administrator for BME: Experience: 0-1 Year experience. Experience: in MySql/ MS-Sqlserver/ Oracle and RDBMS
• District level Data Base Administrator for BM: Experience: 0-1 Year experience in MySql/ MS-Sqlserver/ Oracle and RDBMS, Software development skills with C, C++, Java, .Net, Software Testing skills.

Age Limit (as on 1 September 2011): Maximum 25 years for General category candidates, 28 years for OBC, and 30 years for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates.

Remuneration: For post 1, 3, 4, and 5- Rs 12,000 per month and for post 2- Rs 14,000 per month

Selection Procedure: The eligible candidates will be judged on the basis of written test and interview.
