Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Centre, a Super-Specialty Hospital under Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India invited applications for recruitment of 28 Senior Residents in 7 disciplines -- Anaesthesia (3 posts),  Medicine Group (11 posts), Microbiology (2 posts), Pathology (2 posts), Pulmonary Medicine (3 posts), Radiology (2 posts) and Surgery Group (5 posts) . Pay Scale:  PB - 3 of Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 + 25% NPA + other admissible allowances

Period of Recruitment: The appointment will be initially for a period of one year, which could be extended for a period of three years on an annual basis

7. Name of the Post: Surgery Group

Number of Seats: 5 posts

Age limit: 33 yrs. (as on 28 January 2014)

[Upper age limit is relax-able up to 5 years for SC / ST category candidates & up to 3 years for OBC-NC category candidates

Qualifications: MBBS with Postgraduate Degree in the concerned specialty.

Candidate must have/or applied for Additional Registration for PG Degree/ PG Diploma with MCI/ M.P. State Medical Council.

(Candidates with Diploma will be considered only if P.G. Degree candidates are not available).

Selection Procedure: Senior Residents will be selected on the basis of fulfillment of qualifications and performance in the Interview.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview to be held on 5 February 2014 from 1100 hours.

Appointment will be subject to candidate being declared physical fit for the post by the competent medical board.
