Bihar Police Result 2024: The Bihar Police Recruitment Board has announced the results of the written exam held for the post of Constable on 14 November. Candidates who appeared in the exam can download the result by visiting the official website i.e. csbc.bihar.gov.in. A total of 11,94,590 candidates has appeared in the exam on August 7, 11, 18, 21, 25 and 28 of which 106955 students are selected. These selected candidates will now be called for the post of Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Candidates found eligible for the next stage on the basis of a written exam will be required to appear and pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Separate information regarding the date, time and place of the physical exam will be published on the board's website. CSBC PET Admit Card will be available in due course of time on the official website.
At the time of PET, all the candidates will appear for Document Verification (DV) at the time specified in their admit card and a photocopy of acknowledgement of their online application form along with the required certificates such as
- Valid ID
- Date of Birth Certificate
- Passing Certificate
- Marksheet of 10th
- Reservation Certificate etc.

- Out of the candidates who appeared in the written exam, 511 candidates were declared ineligible due to various reasons. the details of which are as follow:

Bihar Police Cutoff Marks 2024
The cutoff marks will be announced by the commission. However, the minimum passing mark for the exam is 30 marks. The final selection will be done on the basis of the Physical Eligibility Test (PET), but candidates must pass the written test to qualify for the PET.

Step 3: Scroll the page and check the roll number of all shortlisted candidates

As many as 42,780 posts in the non-reserved category (UR) are vacant, while 10,700 posts in the economically weaker section (EWS) are vacant. There are 17,000 vacancies in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, and 1,140 posts in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. As many as 19,210 posts in the Extremely Backward Class (EBC) category are vacant, and 12,850 posts in the Extremely Backward Class (BC) category, which includes 56 transgender candidates, are vacant. In addition, 3,275 posts are vacant in the Backward Class Women (BCW) category. In all, 1,06,955 posts across all categories are vacant

The exam is being conducted for a total of 21, 391 vacancies of Constable posts in District Police/Bihar Special Armed Police/Other Units in the constable cadre of Bihar Police. A total of 18,33,387 candidates have registered online of which 27, 672 applications were cancelled, 14,484were incomplete applications and 17,91, 231 applications were completed.
