BPSC 70th Exam Analysis 2024 Live Updates: Check Today’s Prelims Paper Review, Difficulty Level and Good Attempts

BPSC will release the cutoff marks officially once the selection procedure gets over. Below we have tabulated the expected cutoff marks based on the feedback received from candidates.

As per the initial feedback received from candidates, the overall difficulty level of the exam is found to be moderate to difficult. Check the table below for subject-wise difficulty level.

The BPSC question paper consists of 150 objective-type questions and each question has 5 options, of which 1 option has the correct answer. Through which the candidates will be get the idea of difficulty level of types of questions asked. The questions were sections such as from Current Affairs, History and Culture of Bihar, Indian History and Culture, General Science, Mathematics and Reasoning subjects. 

The BPSC Prelims is conducted for a maximum of 150 marks. There will be a negative marking where 0.25 marks will be deducted as a penalty for marking the wrong answer. 

No marks will be deducted for not marking any options.

As per the latest exam pattern of BPSC a single paper is being conducted for the 70th CCE exam. The important topics for the exam are

Geography of India and Bihar
Geographical division of Bihar and its major river systems
Indian Polity
Indian Economy
Major changes in the economy of Bihar in the post-independence period.
Emphasis on the country’s political system,
Panchayati Raj.
The Indian National Movement and the role played by Bihar in it.

BPSC has received 4.8 lakh applications for the 70th CCE examination. In which 1.30 lakh applications were received on the last 4 days of application.
