Bihar State Housing Board (BSHB) is a state level organization engaged in development of integrated housing colonies with all infrastructure facilities in the state. It has set up a goal to provide 100,000 housing units with commercial facilities in the next 5 years to the state.
BSHB invited online applications for filling up 141 posts on contract basis, initially for a period of one year. Interested candidates can apply online through the Department website till 31 December 2102.

Age Limit (as on 31 December 2012)

Application Fee
An Application fee of Rs.300 for SC/ST and Rs.500 for others has to be deposited in any Branch of SBI through Bank Challan available on the website.
After depositing the fees, Bank will provide a Journal No. This Journal No. has to be filled in the specified location in the online Application Form. Applicants are requested to keep two copies of Bank Challan with themselves and one copy has to be submitted in the Bank.
Selection Procedure
Final Selection would be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written test and Interview.
All eligible candidates will be called for an online written examination. Candidates, shortlisted on the basis of online written examination score, will be considered for selection / Interview. Information regarding Date of examination, Centre etc will be uploaded on the Department website.

[Hard copy of original certificates submitted with online application form will be required during selection / Interview for verification and further approval.]
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates can submit their application along with scanned copy of required documents through the Department website till 31 December 2012. Once the application form is submitted successfully, an email confirmation will be sent to the email-id mentioned in the Online Application form. On successful submission of the online application form, candidates’ should take its print out for future reference.
Application form will be accepted only online and any application through Post or other medium of communication will not be accepted.
As per the “Reservation rules” of state government; benefits of reservation will be given only to natives of Bihar.
