Eligibility Criteria for Faculty Posts

Educational Qualification

1. Reader- Good academic record with a Ph D. Degree or equivalent published work in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. The candidate should possess at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in the seven-point scale with letter Grades, O, A, B, C, D and E & F at the Master's Degree Level.
2. Lecturer/Assistant Professor- Good academic record as defined by the University with at least 55% marks at the Master's degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
3. Professor- An eminent scholar with at least 55% marks at the Masters level or equivalent and with a Ph.D. Degree In the concerned /allied/relevant discipline and having published work ot high quality and actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 (ten) publications in referred/peer ‘reviewed journals' and as books and/or research/Policy papers.

How to apply for BU Odisha, Faculty Posts

The print-out of the application form duly signed by the candidate supported by self-attested copies of all certificates and documents should reach the Registrar, Berhampur University latest by 30 June 2017. Candidates are required to submit seven copies of the printout of the summary sheet. Candidates for the post of professor and Reader are required to submit online their detailed API Score along with the application form. Candidates have to attend the interview on their own expenses.
