Competency-Based Question Weightage for Class 12
For the academic years 2023-24 and 2024-25, the structure of the questions paper for the year-end and board exams for classes 9 and 10 will remain unchanged. For classes 11 and 12, students can check the official website of CBSE to know. Competency-based questions like multiple-choice, case-based, and source-based questions, will account for 50% of the total marks. Out of this, 20% of the questions will be Multiple-Choice based. The remaining 30% will consist of short and long-answer type questions, in line with the current pattern.
