With an objective of providing quality education to children with special learning disabilities, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to recruit special teachers for the purpose.
The Board has a vision of providing extra academic and extracurricular support to these students with the help of special educators, who can understand their problems and requirements much better. CBSE joint secretary and in charge (Academic & Training) D T Sudharsan Rao said, "A letter has been circulated to all the schools asking them for mandatory appointment of aspecial educator. These teachers will help the students in dealing with learning disability."
The Schools have been provided guidelines regarding the eligibility criteria for recruiting the special educators.
