Center for High Energy System and Sciences (CHESS), New Delhi under Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, issued notification inviting applications for recruitment of 3 Junior Research Fellows (JRF) on monthly stipend of Rs.16000 for a period of two years. Stipend: Rs.16000 per month

Discipline/ Qualification-wise JRF details
- M.Sc./ equivalent PG Degree in Physics with Electronics as specialization: 1 post
- B.Tech. in Electronics & Electrical engineering or equivalent: 1 post
- B.Tech. in Computer Science/ MCA: 1 post appoint
[UGC/ CSIR/ NET/ GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.]
Age limit: not more than 28 years (as on 1 January 2014)
[Upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC category candidates and by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates]
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
Candidates will have to produce all Original certificates at the time of Interview.
Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee is to be paid through a crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs.10 drawn in favor of ‘Director, CHESS’.
[SC/ST, OBC candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.]
How to apply: Interested and eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with crossed Indian Postal Order of Rs.10 in original, copies of required certificates/ documents and a recent passport size photograph by post to ‘The Director, Center for High Energy System and Sciences (CHESS), RIC Campus, Vignyanakancha PO, Hyderabad- 500069’ so as to reach the concerned authority within 21 days of publication of the notification in Employment News i.e. till 24 May 2014 as the notification was published in Employment News dated 3- 9 May 2014.
On the envelope carrying the application, candidates should super-scribe ‘Application for the post of JRF-Advt-3’
