Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine New Delhi Notified Recruitment for 24 Posts 2014

Director General, Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), New Delhi, an autonomous organization under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 24 various posts (one post each of Assistant Director-Administration, Accounts Officer and 22 posts of Research Officer (reserved for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as part of a Special Recruitment Drive). Interested candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format to the Council’s office within 30 days of publication of the notification in Employment News i.e. on or before 7 April 2014 as the notification was published in Employment News dated 8 March 2014.

Vacancy Details:
Total vacancies: 24 posts

1. Assistant Director (Administration): 1 post
Pay Scale: PB of Rs. 15600 - 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600
Mode of recruitment: on transfer on deputation basis (including short term contract)
Eligibility Conditions: Officers of the Central Government/ Universities/ recognized Research Institutions/ Public Undertaking/ Statutory Organization holding analogous post or with 5 year service in the post in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500 (Pre-revised) or with 8 year service in the pay scale of Rs. 6500-10500 (Pre-revised) and possessing the following qualification and experience:
Essential Qualifications: Post-Graduate Degree with at least 7 years experience in a responsible capacity in Govt./ Semi Govt., Department of which at least 4 years should be in supervisory officer grade + working knowledge of Urdu.
Master of Business Administration is desirable.

2. Accounts Officer (On Deputation): 1 post
Pay Scale: PB-3 of Rs. 9300 - 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
Mode of recruitment: on deputation basis
Age limit: up to 40 years (as on 7 April 2014)
Educational Qualifications: Degree with 8 years experience in responsible and supervisory capacity in Government/ Semi Government/Department or Audit Department (Civil, Post and telegraph and Railway) + Knowledge of Computer.

3. Research Officer (Unani): 22 posts (Special Recruitment Drive for recruitment of Scheduled Castes, Schedule Tribes and OBC)
Pay Scale: PB of Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
Age limit: up to 40 years (as on 7 April 2014)
Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in the Unani System included in the Second Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970  with one year post qualification Research/ teaching experience + Knowledge of English, Urdu/ Arabic/ Persian.
Candidate must be enrolled on the Central Register of CCIM or a State Register of ISM.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidate will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
Only short list candidates will be called for the interview.
They will be required to produce all Original certificates and testimonials at the time of interview.

Application fees (for vacancies mentioned at Sl. No 2 &3): Non-refundable application fee is to be paid through a crossed demand draft of Rs. 100 (Rs. 20 for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) drawn in favour of ‘Director General, CCRUM’ payable at New Delhi.
