Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine Notified Recruitment for 22 Research Officer Posts

The Director General, Central Council for Research in Unani Medicines, New Delhi issued notification announcing a special Recruitment Drive for recruitment of Scheduled Castes and Schedule Tribes and OBC category candidates to 22 posts of Research Officers (Unani). Name of the post: Research Officer (Unani)

Number of seats: 22 posts

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600 – 39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400

Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: Upto 40 years.

Qualifications: Post-graduate Degree in Unani System + 1 year post-qualification experience in Research / teaching + Enrollment on the central Register of CCIM or a State Register of ISM + Knowledge of English, Urdu / Arabic / Persian + Original Research publication.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates performance in the

Objective Type screening test followed by Interview for those qualifying the written test

Travel Allowance: Candidates called for Interview will be paid 2nd Class Railway fare by shortest route.

Candidates called for the Interview would be required to produce all documents in original for verification.

Application fees: Non-refundable application fees of Rs. 20 have to be paid through a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of Director General, CCRUM, payable at New Delhi.

On the envelope containing the application form, candidates must super-scribe ‘Application for the post of Research Officer (Unani).’
