The ICSE examinations 2014 were held from 3 March 2014 to 29 March 2014 at 2,500 exam centers spread across India. The answer sheets were evaluated at 650 centralized centers.  

Last year, the results for class 10 ISCE exam were announced on 17 May 2014 in which the pass percentage was noted to be 98.20 per cent.

The highest percentage in 2013 was scored from Southern region where 99.66% stood as the highest score overall, followed by the Western region where the secnd highest was scored with 99.46%.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducts the Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (ICSE) examination every year for Class 10th. The headquarters are based in New Delhi. The Private students are not eligible to appear for the exams.

The CISCE is a pan-India non-governmental board that conducts two examinations in India: the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) – 10th and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) – 12th. The CISCE was established in 1956 at the meeting of the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education.
