Application Fee: Application fees for unreserved/ OBC candidates of Chhattisgarh domicile is Rs 300 and candidates of all categories belonging to other States shall be Rs 400 per Company per candidate.
Selection Procedure: The combined competitive examination comprises following successive stages:
- State Service Preliminary Examination (for selection of candidates for Main Examination): It will consist of one paper (objective type multiple choice questions) of General Studies & mental ability, and carry a maximum of 300 marks (150 questions each carrying 2 marks and will be of 2 ½ hrs).
- State Services Main Examination: Main Examination will consist of four question papers as given below
a) Compulsory Paper: Paper I (General Studies 2.30 hr, 150 questions of 300 Marks) & Paper II Language (Gen. Hindi & Gen. English) (2.30 hr, 150 questions of 300 Marks)
b) Optional Paper: Optional Paper I (2.30 hr, 150 questions of 300 Marks) & Optional Paper II (2.30 hr, 150 questions of 300 Marks) - Interview (for selection of candidates for the various categories of services and post): The number of candidates to be called for the Interview test will be about three times the total number of vacancies. Only those who have qualified in Main examination will be eligible for Interview. The interview will carry 150 marks (with no qualifying Minimum marks).
