Name of the Post: Cultural Quota (one post each in Dance and Instrumental)
Eligibility Criteria: 12th examination pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized board or Higher Education. i) Dance- Possession of Degree/Diploma Certificate in Dance from Government recognized Institute. ii)For Music (Instrumental: Percussion/Air ) – Possession of Degree/ Diploma Certificate in Instrumental: Percussion/Air from Government recognized Institute. Age Limit: 18 – 29 Years
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in i) Written Test: In written test, Questions will be of objective type which may include General Knowledge, General Science, General Mathematics, Knowledge of general English & Hindi Language, Professional knowledge, Reasoning and Aptitude etc. ii) Assessment of talent in the relevant cultural discipline on the basis of Practical Demonstration iii) Assessment of talent in the relevant cultural discipline on the basis of Testimonials / Prizes etc.
There will be a common Written Test for both the disciplines Dance and Music (Instrumental: Percussion/Air). Candidates who qualify in the Written Test will only be called for “Practical Demonstration” and “Assessment of Talent” as mentioned at (ii) & (iii) above respectively.
How to Apply
Interested and eligible candidates are required to send their application in the prescribed format. Applicant should write on the top of the envelope containing the application as follows: “ Cultural Quota Application- 2016-17 ” and should send 02 (two) photographs duly signed on the back of them with application form and keep atleast 05 five photographs also with them for future use.
Candidates should send their applications through postal deptt. by ‘Ordinary Post’only to- Senior Personnel Officer (Admn), Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan, Dist: Bardhaman (West Bengal), PIN 713331 or Candidates may drop their applications in the ‘Drop Box’, kept for the purpose, under the control of Ch.O.S./GM(G)’s office, Administrative Building, GM’s office, CLW/Chittaranjan, in any working day during office hours.
