The Central Institute for Cotton Research (CICR) invited applications for recruitment to the post of Senior Research Fellows. The candidates eligible for the post can attend walk in interview on 1 December 2014. CICR is a central research institute established in 1976 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research to promote long term research efforts in cotton production and provide support and conduct applied research on cotton with the active involvement of State Universities.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidate should be Post Graduate in Agronomy or Plant Breeding or Bio Science or experience in relevant field.
Age limit
- Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 35 year for Men and 40 years for Women as on 1 December 2014.
- Age Relaxation in upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST is 5 years and for OBC candidates is 3 years.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Interview.
