CMAT February 2013 Results

CMAT February 2013 results se to be declared on 13 March 2013. It will decide the fate of over a lakh of students who sat for the examination between 21 – 25 February 2013. Read the full article for details.

For admissions to academic year 2013-14, the first CMAT exam was conducted from 27 September 2012 - 1 October 2012 and its results were declared in October 2013.

The second CMAT exam for admissions to the academic year 2013-14 was conducted from 21 February 2013 - 25 February 2013. Over 1.5 lakh students registered for the CMAT February 2013 examination. Its results are expected on 13 March 2013.

The result will include total marks along with the All India Rank (AIR) obtained by candidates. Candidates can access the result by logging on the AICTE-CMAT website www.aicte-cmat.in with their username and password followed by their roll number. It is only an additional test for this year and not the third CMAT test.

The AICTE will conduct another CMAT examination in May 2013 for admission to academic year 2013-2014. The May 2013 CMAT will be a kind of supplementary for the last two CMAT exams, in which only those candidates, who missed out one of the last two CMAT tests, will be allowed to apply and appear.

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi conducts Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) examination for admission to various Management programmes, MBA Programmes in AICTE approved institutions and University Departments of all the states, and one of the five tests for PGDM programmes for 2013-14. The entrance exam is conducted for admission to 4,000 colleges that offers MBA and 500 colleges which offers postgraduate Diploma programmes in Management.

CMAT is a computer-based test (CBT) which is conducted twice a year. Each Candidate is eligible to appear in both the exams and the better of two scores is used for the admission for each academic year.  The format of the online test is more or less same as paper examination except that, in CBT candidate reads the question on a computer terminal and marks its answer by clicking on the correct answer, with the help of a mouse, from amongst the options given with the question instead of reading on a paper booklet and using a pencil to darken the ovals on an answer sheet.
