The Council for Leather Exports (CLE) which is actually an Export Promotion Organization functioning under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The headquarter is situated in Chennai whereas the Regional offices are at Delhi, Kanpur, Kolkata and Mumbai. The notification is out for following 2 posts:

1) Assistant Director/Regional Director

2) Export Promotion Officer

Detailed description of the vacancy in CLE:

1) Assistant Director/Regional Director –

Educational Qualification for Recruitment at CLE: The candidate should be a Post Graduate Diploma in Management or MBA.

Experience for Recruitment at CLE: Minimum 7 years of experience in a Senior position in an Export/Trade promotion organization and/or relevant field.

Other essentialities for Recruitment at CLE:

• Computer proficiency
• English fluency
• Liaising capabilities with various Government Departments
• Project preparation and it’s presentation
• Export market analysis

Age Limit for Recruitment at CLE:

The age of candidate should be not more than 45 years as on 1st April 2015.

Pay scale for Recruitment at CLE:

Rs 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs 5400/- with admissible allowances therein. The monthly emoluments as of now for the post according to the 6th pay revision band is Rs 57444/-.

2) Export Promotion Officer

Qualification for Recruitment at CLE: The candidate should be a Post Graduate Diploma in Management or MBA.

Experience for Recruitment at CLE: Minimum 5 years of experience in a compatible position in an Export/Trade promotion organization and/or relevant field.

Age Limit for Recruitment at CLE: The age of candidate should be not more than 40 years as on 1st April 2015.

Pay scale for Recruitment at CLE:
Rs 9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4200/- with admissible allowances therein. The monthly emoluments as of now for the post according to the 6th pay revision band is Rs 39908/-.
