Established in 1942, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is an autonomous organisation under the department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. It is regarded as one of the leading Scientific Industrial R& D organizations with a network of 37 laboratories or institutes all over the country. It invites applications from eligible candidates for Combined Administrative Services Examination (CASE) 2013 for the recruitment to the positions of Assistants in different cadres.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University
- Age Limit (as on 31 December 2012): Maximum 28 years (33 years for SC/ST/ PH/ Ex-servicemen and 31 years for OBC)
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the following criteria

The written examination will be held in objective mode with Multiple Type Questions. Qualified candidates who score minimum cut off marks in written examination (as fixed by CSIR on its discretion) will be called for interview.
How to Apply: Candidates should apply online only on the official website of CSIR. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Candidates should deposit the fee online using the payment gateway link given in the online application form via Credit/ debit card OR Net Banking facility. Applicants must note that fee once paid will not be returned under any condition.
Candidates are then required to upload their recent passport size color photograph (.jpg format only max size 100 KB) on the specified space in the online application form.
Note: Applicants should note that CSIR will not accept the applications without photographs. Also, candidates do not need to send the hard copy of submitted application form to the office of CSIR or any other institute. Rather, they can keep that copy for their future reference.
