CSIR – National Chemical Laboratory Notified Recruitment for 15 Various Posts 2014

CSIR – National Chemical Laboratory, Pune invited applications from eligible candidates, who fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the posts of Senior Scientist & Senior Principal Scientist. The candidates eligible for the post may apply ONLINE on or before 20 August 2014.

1. Scientist/ Senior Scientist: 12 (Twelve).
2. Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist: 03 (Three).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• For Post 1:

(i) Ph.D. submitted in Chemistry or Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemistry/ Physics or Bioscience/ Chemistry/ Physicsor Physics or Microbiology/ Biotechnology or Chemical/Mechanical/Polymer Engineering/Material Science or Chemical Engineering/ Fiber Technology/Polymer Science and Engineering with 2 years additionalrelevant experience.                OR

(ii) ME/ M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering with 3 years additionalrelevant experience.     OR

• For Post 2:

Ph.D. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Bioscience with 3 years (for Principal Scientist) or 6 years (for Sr. Principal Scientist) of relevant post- doctoral experience.

Age Limit

Age Limit for the candidatesshould not be exceeding32 years for Scientist and 37 years for Senior Scientist (for post 1) and 45 years for Principal Scientist and 50 years for Senior Principal Scientist (for post 2) as on last date of receipt of application and Age relaxation for the category candidates should be as per rules (if Applicable).

Pay Scale

• Scientist/ Senior Scientist: Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600/- Per Month for Scientist and Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600/- Per Month Senior Scientist.
• Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist: Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/- Per Month for Principal Scientist and Grade Pay of Rs. 8,900/- Per Month for Senior Principal Scientist.
• And other additional allowances as admissible by CSIR.

Application Fee 

• Application Fee (Non- Refundable) is of Rs. 100/- (One Hundred only) in the form of Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Director, CSIR – National Chemical Laboratory”, payable at Pune.
• SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR Employees/ Abroad candidatecategory are exempted from the fee payment.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical Test/ Skill Test/ Personal Interview, which might be conducted by the administration.

How to Apply

• Interested Candidates may apply ONLINE through the NCL Website www.job.ncl.res.inon or before 20 August 2014.
• After successful submission of ONLINE application take the Printout of the filled in Application Form for future requirement/ reference.
• Candidate has to send the Print out of filled Application Form with generated Application ID along with the photo copies of relevant certificates/ testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications, experience, category (SC/ ST/ PWD), re- prints of publications etc.with a recent colored passport size photograph should be affix on the application form duly signed across  and the Demand Draft may forward to the “Director, CSIR – National Chemical Laboratory, Dr. HomiBhabha Road, Pune – 411008” on or before 05September 2014.

• The envelope containing the application must be super scribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____________________”.
