CSIR NEERI Notified Recruitment for Project Assistants and Associate posts 2014

CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) invited applications for recruitment to the post of Project Assistants/Associate at various levels under the externally funded/sponsored project(s) and CSIR funded Network and other Projects of 12th Five Year Plan. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format on or before 15 February 2014. NEERI is a research institute and was established in Nagpur in 1958 with focus on water supply, sewage disposal, communicable diseases and to some extent on industrial pollution and occupational diseases found common in post-independent India. It is a pioneer laboratory in the field of environmental science and engineering and part of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

Age limit

•    Project Assistant Level – I (non-PhD): Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 25 years.
•    Project Assistant Level – II (non-PhD): Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 28 years.
•    Project Assistant Level – III (non-PhD): Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 32 years.
•    Project Associate Level – I (PhD):  Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 35 years.
•    Project Associate Level – II (PhD): Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 37 years.


Educational Qualification

•    Project Assistant Level – I (non-PhD): B.Sc or Diploma in Engg or equivalent with 50% Marks.
•    Project Assistant Level – II (non-PhD): MSc or BE or B.Tech or equivalent with minimum 55% marks.
•    Project Assistant Level – III (non-PhD): MSc or BE or B.Tech or equivalent and 2 years experience or M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with minimum 55% marks.
•    Project Associate Level – I (PhD): PhD in relevant subject/area.
•    Project Associate Level – II (PhD): PhD in relevant subject/area and 2 years relevant experience.

Pay Scale

•    Project Assistant Level – I (non-PhD): Rs. 8,000/- p.m.
•    Project Assistant Level – II (non-PhD): Rs. 12, 000/- p.m.
•    Project Assistant Level – III (non-PhD): Rs. 14,000/- p.m.
•    Project Associate Level – I (PhD): Rs. 20,000/- p.m.
•    Project Associate Level – II (PhD): Rs. 25.000/- p.m.

Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview.
