FMS is not the only MBA college under Delhi University any more, Delhi School of Economics has started a 2 year MBA programme as well. Previously it was known as MBA in International Business (MIB).
This programme of DSE has been very popular already, But, it was called Masters in International business. It has now been renamed to MBA in International Business. DSE has given excellent Return on Investment in every batch and with the renaming it has joined the league of FMS, South Campus which was running an MBA programme at a nominal fee for long. IIFT is another popular college which provides a similar MBA Programme.
Delhi School of Economics will be anouncing the list of candidates in the last week of January 2015. shortlisting criteria for final admission round at DSE will be based on CAT 2014 scores. A merit list will be drawn based on the CAT 2014 overall percentile for PI round to be held at Delhi. Expected CAT 2014 percentile cut off as per the past shortlisting criteria in 2014 is expected to remain at 92+ for admissions in the 2015 session.
Around 300 to 350 candidates are proposed to be shortlisted by DSE for final admission round 2015.
Delhi School of Business will be conducting Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) for the shortlisted candidates. Both the components will have high weightage in final selection lists for the B school. Apart from GD & PI, past academic and professional record will also be taken into account to arrive at the final merit list.
Total Seats at DSE: 73 (62 for MBA in IB and 11 for MBA in HRD)
MBA Programme fee at DSE: 18,000/annum
It thus provides a great ROI.
Eligibility for MBA Admissions in DSE: Candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree examination of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto in any discipline,with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent thereto in the grading system.
