The University of Delhi was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly. Popularly known as DU, it offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. It invites application from eligible candidates for selecting students for admission to MA Applied Psychology in South Campus of Delhi University.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Delhi University (DU)
Educational Qualification
- BA (Hons.)/ BA (Pass)/ BA Programme Examination in Psychology of Delhi University and other recognised University with 55% marks or above in aggregate OR
- Graduation in any discipline from Delhi University or any other recognised University with 60% marks or above in aggregate OR
- Post Graduation in any discipline from Delhi University or any other recognised University with 60% marks or above in aggregate
Note: 50% seats will be reserved for BA (Hons.) Applied Psychology/ BA (Hons.) Psychology from Delhi University students and will be filled up on the basis of merit. Candidates are, however, required to take Entrance Test, Group Discussion & Interview for determination of merit.
Selection Procedure for Admission in Delhi University (DU): Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test, Group Discussion & Interview.
The Questions for written test (objective type questions) of 3 hours duration will be set from the following areas:
- General Psychology
- Social Psychology
- Research Methods & Statistics in Psychology
- Clinical Psychology
- Industrial Psychology/Organisational Behaviour
- Areas of Applied Psychology
- Physiological Psychology
- Personality
Candidates getting less than 40% marks in the Entrance Exam will not qualify for the group discussion and interview.
How to Apply for Admission in Delhi University (DU): The Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained in person from the Department of Psychology, Applied Psychology Unit, Arts Faculty Building, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Road, New Delhi-110021.
Brochure+ Application fee: Rs 400 for General and OBC candidates (Rs 100 for SC/ ST/ PH candidates). The fee needs to be paid in the form of Bank Draft/ Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India any Nationalised Bank in favour of in favour of the Director, University of Delhi, South Campus, New Delhi -110021 State Bank of India, Delhi University Branch (South Campus).
Candidates are requested to write their name, and address at the back of Bank Draft.
