Defence Research & Development Establishment (DRDE) is an Indian Defence laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) which works under Department of Defence Research and Development of Ministry of Defence. Located in Gwalior, it is primarily involved in the research and development of detection and protection against toxic chemical and biological agents. It invites application from eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellow and Research Associate to work in specific areas.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Junior Research Fellow: Candidate must possess minimum 60% marks in the relevant discipline for JRF (CSIR/ UGC/ NET/ GATE qualified candidates will be given preference)
- Research Associate: First class of MSc degree with PhD in the relevant discipline
Age Limit (31 August 2011)
- Junior Research Fellow: Maximum 28 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
- Research Associate: Maximum 30 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
How to Apply
Candidates should send a crossed Indian Postal Order of Rs 10 in favour of Director, DRDE, Jhansi Road, Gwalior along with application (exemption for SC/ ST and OBC candidates). Application in the format given in Employment Newspaper duly supported with attested testimonials should reach the Director, DRDE, Gwalior- 474 002 by Speed Post/ Registered Post. The candidates are advised to mention Code Number and discipline on the envelope in which they send their application.
