DU’s Ambedkar Centre for Biomedical Research Announced Admission to MSc- PhD in Biomedical Sciences

Dr Ambedkar Centre for Biomedical Research (ACBR) was founded in March 1991 at University of Delhi by Government of India on the occasion of birth centenary of Dr B R Ambedkar. ACBR invited applications for admissions to MSc- PhD combined programme in Biomedical Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria

Admission seekers must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Botany/Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Environmental Biology/ Biotechnology/ Laboratory Techniques/ BPharma/ BVSc or MBBS with a minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ PWD and Defence category candidates) from University of Delhi or any other examination recognised by the University or equivalent.

Selection Process

Eligible applicants will have to appear in an admission test to be held on the specified date. Those who qualify the admission test will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection.

Application Fee and Mode of Payment

The cost of Information Bulletin/ application fee is Rs 1000 (Rs 400 for SC/ST and PWD candidates). The fee must be paid through Demand Draft (in case of downloaded form) in favour of “Director, Dr B R Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research”.

Those who want to get the application form by post will be required to make a DD of Rs 1050 (Rs 450 for SC/ST and PWD applicants).

• Candidates can obtain the information bulletin in person from the office of the Centre or can also get it via post
• Besides this, the application form is also available for download on the website of the centre
