EME Delhi Cantt Notified Recruitment for 4 Group C Posts 2014

    Headquarters Technical Group, EME, Delhi Cantt issued notification inviting applications for direct recruitment to 4 Group C vacancies – 1 post of Lower Division Clerk, 2 posts of MTS (Messenger) and 1 post of MTS (Chowkidar) – in the Corps of Electronic and Mechanical Engineers. Interested candidates should send their applications to the concerned authority within 3 weeks of publication of the notification in Employment Newspaper i.e. till 21 February 2014 as the notification was published in Employment News dated 1 February 2014 – 7 February 2014.

    1. Name of the Post: Lower Division Clerk

    No of Posts: 1 post

    Pay Scale: Pay Band I of Rs. 5200 – 20200 with Grade pay of Rs. 1900.

    Educational qualifications: 12th pass or equivalent qualification with English Typing @35 wpm on Computers and Hindi Typing @ 30 wpm on Computers

    2. Name of the Post: MTS (Messenger)

    No of Posts: 2 posts

    Pay Scale: Pay Band I of Rs. 5200 – 20200 with Grade pay of Rs. 1800.

    Educational qualifications: Matriculation or 10th pass or equivalent qualification

    Experience required: atleast one year experience in concerned trade

    3. Name of the Post: MTS (Chowkidar)

    No of Posts: 1 post

    Pay Scale: Pay Band I of Rs. 5200 – 20200 with Grade pay of Rs. 1800.

    Educational qualifications: Matriculation or 10th pass or equivalent qualification

    Experience required: atleast one year experience in concerned trade

    Age limit: between 18 years and 25 years (as on the last date for receipt of applications)

    [Upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC category candidates, by 5years for SC / ST category candidates and up to the age of 35 years for government servants)

    Mode of Recruitment: Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in written test, skill test and Interview.

    Only short-listed candidates will be called for the tests / Interview.

    Candidates called for the Interview will be required to produce all certificates / documents / testimonials / mark sheets inOriginal for verification.

    All the posts carry All India transfer Liability and Field Service Liability.

    How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with a self -  addressed, stamped envelope and attested copies of required certificates / documents / testimonials / mark sheets, through ordinary post to ‘The Commander, HQ, Technical Group, EME, Kirby Place, Delhi Cantt – 110 010’so as to  reach the concerned officer within 3 weeks of publication of the notification in Employment Newspaper i.e. till 21 February 2014 as the notification was published in Employment News dated 1 February 2014 – 7 February 2014.

    On the envelope carrying the applications candidates should super-scribe ‘Application for the post of _________ (name of the post applied for)’.

    Separate application should be sent for each post.
