Final List of Students for Admission in DAIICT Announced:
Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT) has announced the list of candidates who have selected for the admissions to B.Tech programmes.
Number of Seats:
There are total 300 seats for B.Tech programmes.in the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. The number of intake of the undergraduate engineering programme is as follows:
- B.Tech -Information and Communication Technology (ICT) - 240
- B.Tech - Honours with minor in Computational Science - 60
Gujarat Category: 50% of seats are reserved for candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination from the schools located in the State of Gujarat. These seats are to be filled filled through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat.
All India Category: The remaining fifty per cent will be filled in directly by DA-IICT.
In addition to the 300 seats, 30 seats will be offered to Non-Resident Indians/Foreign Nationals through DAFS.
The shortlisted candidates will have to report to DA-IICT Gandhinagar, Gujarat on July 25, 2014 and thereafter register themselves for the program allotted to them after which the shortlisted candidates will take the allotment of hostel room and pay the fees as mentioned below:
- Registration fee- Rs.2,500/-
- Hostel rent- Rs.10,000/- for the first semester
- Medical Insurance premium- Rs.500/-
The Orientation Program will commence on July 28, 2014 for which the schedule will be announced later on the official website of DAIICT. The classes will commence from July 30, 2014.
DA-IICT is a University established under an Act of Gujarat State Legislature (Act No. 6 of 2003). It is also UGC recognized statutory university and it has announced admissions to the fourteenth batch (2014 Batch) of its B Tech (Information and Communication Technology) (ICT) program and second batch (2014 batch) of B Tech (Honours in ICT with minor in Computational Science).The last date for DAIICT B.Tech Application Form 2014 has been extended till July 4, 2014.
