GATE 2025 Starts Tomorrow: The GATE 2025 Exam is scheduled on February 1, 2, 15 & 16, 2025 in two shifts every day. As the GATE exam starts tomorrow, candidates must evaluate their preparedness level and revisit key topics. The IIT Roorkee has released the GATE Shift Timings on its official website. As per the latest notice, the GATE 2025 exam will be held in two sessions daily. IIT Roorkee has released the GATE Admit Card on January 07, 2025, on its official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Those who have not downloaded their admit card yet can do so using the link provided below.
GATE Exam Pattern 2025
Candidates must also be well-acquainted with the GATE exam pattern 2025 for top-notch preparation. The GATE 2025 exam is divided into two subjects i.e. General Aptitude (GA) and Candidate’s Opted Subject. A total of 65 questions are asked for 100 marks in the exam duration of 3 hours. A negative marking of 1/3rd mark and 2/3rd mark shall be applicable for 1-mark MCQ and 2-mark MCQ respectively for each incorrect answer in the exam.

GATE Exam Day Guidelines 2025- Do’s & Don’t
As the GATE exam starts tomorrow, aspirants must speed up their revision and focus on the high-weightage topics. Here are the GATE exam day guidelines listed below in detail for the ease of the candidates.
- Reach the GATE exam centre according to the shift timing prescribed by the officials.
- Bring the hard copy of the GATE admit card and photo ID proof to the exam centre.
- Avoid carrying any prohibited items including calculators, electronic devices, mobile phones, books, etc to the GATE exam centre.
- No candidate is allowed to leave the exam hall until the GATE exam is over.
- As there is a negative marking on the GATE question paper, aspirants must avoid unnecessary guesswork.
