GIDS Recruitment 2016 for 05 Faculty Posts, Apply by 16 July

Giri Institute of Development Studies (GIDS) invited applications for recruitment to the post for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through the prescribed format on or before 16 July 2016.

Under GIDS Recruitment 2016 out of total 05 Faculty Posts, 02 Posts are for Professor, 02 posts are for Associate Professor, and 01 Post is for Assistant Professor.

Eligibility for Professor: candidate should be a Ph.D. in any of the social science disciplines, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work, with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. Candidate should have minimum 10 years of teaching experience in university/college, and /or experience in research at the University/National Level institutions, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level with minimum 400 API.

Eligibility for Associate Professor: candidate should be a Ph.D. degree in a social science discipline with minimum 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master's degree level with a minimum of 05 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. Candidate should have 08 years of teaching experience in university/college, and /or experience in research at the University/National Level institutions, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level with minimum 400 API.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor: candidate should have Maters Degree in relevant subject with minimum 55 % from a recognised university and should have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC.
