GPSC invited applications for recruitment to the post for Superintendent of Fisheries. The candidates eligible for the post can apply online through the prescribed format on or before 30 July 2016 (01 PM).
Under GPSC Recruitment 2016, there are 10 posts for the post of Superintendent of Fisheries, Class-II, in Gujarat Fisheries Service Under the control of Commissionerate of Fisheries, Agriculture, and Co-Operation Department.
Eligibility for Superintendent of Fisheries: candidates should have Postgraduate Degree in Fisheries Science / Science with one of the following subject, Fisheries Resource management, Aquatic biology, Mari Culture, Post Harvest Technology, Marine Science, Zoology or 02 Year Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries from a recognised University. Candidate should have 03-year experience on the post of Fisheries officer (General) or equivalent. Alternatively, Degree of Fisheries Science or Bachelor degree in Science with Fisheries Resources Management or Zoology as principal subject with five years experience on the post not below the rank of Fisheries Officer (General), Class III, in Government Fisheries Department.
