The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will all set to conduct the International Health and Wellness Summit (second edition) from September to December. Initially, the summit will be held at the regional level in the different finalized center that scheduled in September-November. However, the international summit planned for the second week of December in the national capital, according to the CBSE statement released on Tuesday.
All country schools can take part in this summit along with the abroad schools affiliated with CBSE. As per the statement, the board has included the sensitive issues that are valued education, life skills and gender sensitization as vital issues in the curriculum the summit on a pan-India basis will assist to enhance alertness towards issues of gender, health environment and well-being.
A community-based outreach program, Expressions India occurring for the last 10 years to promote life skills, education, school health and community wellness. A group of mental health professionals has introduced this program.
The board of education for public and private schools, CBSE that organizes the Classes 10 and 12 final examinations. Along with it annually carry out the All India Premedical Test and All India Engineering Entrance examinations for admission to the undergraduate courses in Medical and Engineering colleges.
