HP Police Constable Recruitment 2020: Himachal Government has approved the filling of 1334 vacancies of police constables under direct recruitment for the new post commissioned at Sansarpur Terrace in the recent cabinet meeting. Out of 1334 Vacancies, 976 vacancies are of male constable, 267 are for female constable, 91 for the driver, 2 are for Leading Fireman and 11 seats are for Driver cum Pump Operator.
According to media reports, HP Police Constable Recruitment 2020 online applications will start in November 2020. The final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written test and physical efficiency test. This year, the police recruitment board may change the written test process after being questioned over the last few years. The board is planning to conduct the recruitment exams through State Selection Commission (SSC) under direct recruitment basis as per media reports.
The proposal has been prepared and sent to the government. If this proposal gets the approval of the government, then all the responsibilities from preparing the written exam question paper to conducting the examination will be with the Staff Selection Commission.
